WHAT IS TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people
together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDxNWC,
where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxNWC event,
TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion
and connection in a small group.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but
individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED. This event is not being organized by the TED conferences — this is an independently organized TED event.

New Work City
New Work City is a coworking space in Manhattan. We’re the gathering spot for a community of like-minded individuals who need somewhere to work that’s both creative and social, and professional and conducive to working.
We’re not an office space. We don’t rent desks. There are lots of businesses in NYC that offer those services; in fact we’re part of a coalition of them.
Instead of renting desks, we offer memberships. Members use the workspace when they need it, and pay based on usage. That means you could just show up for a day and get to work!
